The animals under the care of Whiskers-n-Wags Rescue Team, Inc. have all received their annual vaccinations and have all been spay/neutered, unless they are too young. All medical records and any special needs requirements will be provided at the time of adoption. All animals have been socialized and currently live in a 'family' atmosphere with young children.

Cats must be indoor companions only and de-clawing is strictly prohibited.

Dogs should be primarily indoor companions and treated as members of the family.

We encourage our adopters to participate in training classes and also to consider allowing their companions to participate in therapy, search & rescue or other programs that benefit the animals and promote greater bonding.

If for any reason, during it's lifetime, you cannot continue to provide proper care for your animal(s), arrangements must be made to return said animal(s) to the care of Whiskers-n-Wags Rescue Team, Inc. No Exceptions.
I have read the adoption policies stated on the Adoption page and certifiy that I agree to the terms therein. I also agree to have the animal(s) spay/neutered, if necesary, by the date specified in the adoption contract and verify that everyone in the household is aware of my intention to adopt and is in agreement to the adoption.
