PARTICK NEEDS OUR HELP!
This little guy is Patrick-named for the late Partick Swayze because he is such a lover! Partrick had a very rough start and he still needs your help! As you can see from his photo, this little 3 month old Russian Blue mix has a very bad cold- watery eyes, runny nose- the works!

Whiskers-n-Wags assists our Friends at the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter by taking pictures and posting their kitties on Petfinder. We know that they are a kill shelter, but they do not take that responsibility lightly, and they welcomed our offer to help get their animals placed.

By necessity, I do not allow myself to pay too much attention to the cats. I would take every one of them home if I could, but that isn't possible, so we do what we can. Sometimes, though, the best laid plans just don't work out- Enter Patrick.

When I took this baby out of the cage, he was a mess- as you can see- his eyes and nose were non-stop! He has a miserable cold! But he started to purr immediately and nibbled on my chin. He nuzzled my hair and made biscuits on my shoulder- all in about 10 seconds! How could we not fall in love with this boy? In spite of the fact that we are overloaded, we couldn't leave him there! Sick babies cannot stay in the Shelter since the risk is great that they will infect the others. We started trying to figure out how to help. Fortunately, WnW friend Florence agreed to foster and nurse him!!

Now, under threat of Divorce, (jk!) Patrick needs a wonderful home! If you are looking for an in your face dog like cat who will no doubt spend lots of time following you around and snuggling up, then Patrick is the perfect boy for you!
