AL & Company
When a concerned neighbor stopped to offer a hand in Spotsylvania, she found more than she bargained for. The wheelchair bound home owner was doing his best to care for several animals who had wandered on to the property from a nearby landfill- dumped there by humans to whom they were no more than trash to be disposed of. Even with limited means and a disabilty, Al cared for these animals, but he recently lost his home and was forced to move. .

Since then, a hand full of volunteers have been caring for the cats- all but two have been spayed or neutered by Operation Cat Nip. We continue to feed them, but ideally we would love to relocate them safely. This lovely girl (right) is Peanut- she is a sweet, wonderful girl who would be an amazing inside/outside pet. She is spayed and healthy to our knowledge and we're guessing that she is about 3 or 4 years old. We would love to see her get a home, ideally with her friend Isla.

***Care should be taken in relocating ferals. We would like for the semi-feral cats to rehome in at least pairs or groups. There are 6 kittens and four adult cats. Please talk to us about the best way to rehome feral cats.

ISLA
Isla has been through a lot in her 2 or 3 years of life. She has a cloudy eye, but apparently it doesn't cause her pain and the pressure is not too high. Isla was also hit by a car and injured her hind legs, but there too, she is fine! She is a sweet, human friendly dilute calico who is spayed and in generally good health. She'd love an indoor/outdoor home, ideally with her best friend Peanut.

LIGHT GREY KITTY
Whiskers-n-Wags endevours to name all of the kitties, but in the case of most of these kitties, we've only recently gained some trust. They now come running when we come to feed them, and all but two of them enjoy being petted. Grey Boy is neutered , 8 months old, and in generally good health. He will likely very happily be an outside kitty in the right situation.

***We would like for the semi-feral cats to rehome in at least pairs or groups.

ORANGE KITTY
This boy is one of the sweeter semi-feral kitties- he is always one of the first to run out and meet us. Orange Boy is neutered , 8 months old, and in generally good health. He will likely very happily be an outside kitty in the right situation.

***We would like for the semi-feral cats to rehome in at least pairs or groups.

DARK GREY KITTY
This baby girl has come around nicely. She is very sweet. She would make a great mouser! Grey Girl is spayed , 8 months old, and in generally good health. She will likely very happily be an outside kitty in the right situation.

***We would like for the semi-feral cats to rehome in at least pairs or groups.
