n' Wags will work with you to find the right companion animal
for you and your lifestyle. Our animals deserve lifetime loving
families and you deserve a happy, loving and well adjusted
pet. All Whiskers n' Wags animals have been assessed by a
veterinarian and are current on all required vaccinations
and in the best possible health. All pets are spayed or neutered
before final adoption (except for those too young for the
procedure).

THE WOES of a FIRST TIME FOSTER MOM!
 Dolores
has been carrying the load for a long time, fostering most
of the animals that Whiskers-n-Wags took on! If you've ever
had the privilege of visiting her house, you know that it's
a hub of activity! This kitten season, several members stepped
up to share the load. What a mixed blessing! It's a wonderful
experience having kittens romping around, but it's very tough
when these babies you've grown to love "leave the nest...."

OUR
MISSION
Whiskers n' Wags Rescue Team, a 'no-kill'
organization located in the greater Fredericksburg, Virginia
area, works to rescue homeless, neglected, abused or special
needs animal, utilizing all resources available to guarantee
safe, lifetime placement. Animals will be fostered in member
homes until placed, kept up to date on shots, spay/neutered
at the appropriate age, housetrained, and acclimated to human
and multiple animal households whenever possible. |

are the life's blood of our organization. Without the help
of generous people like you, we cannot provide the rescue,
rehabilitation and spay/neuter assistance these animals so
